Kimberley Waldron

An award-winning marketer and entrepreneur, with 10 years + experience in the technology, retail, mobile and banking sectors. Kimberley’s career began in Manchester in independent music promotion, radio and online journalism.

In 2009, Kimberley Co-Founded international communications agency SkyParlour at 26 years of age. Ten years on, from its base in central Manchester, the business has amassed Fintech clients around the world from Palo Alto, to Munich, to Jakarta and back again to Cheadle.

Kimberley is co-chair of the Pro Manchester Fintech committee and industry advisor to the University of Salford Fintech MSc programme. She is also an active member of the Founders for Schools initiative and a mentor on the Tech Manchester mentoring programme.

Chief Strategy Officer at Algbra

Nizam Uddin OBE

Nizam is Chief Strategy Officer of algbra. Prior to joining algbra, Nizam was the Senior Head of Mosaic and Community Integration at The Prince’s Trust, where he led on the organisation's community cohesion and social integration activities and had oversight of the Mosaic Initiative. In this capacity, Nizam managed senior stakeholders that included UK Government departments, corporate partners, philanthropists, and various family offices. Nizam is a 2019 Greenberg World Fellow at Yale University and a 2019 US State Department International Visitor Leadership Programme (IVLP) participant.

Nizam has a strong interest and background in social mobility, particularly in overcoming the societal and economic challenges that prevent minority communities from fulfilling their potential. Nizam is currently a Trustee of SOAS, University of London, a Trustee of Robert. F. Kennedy Human Rights UK, a Trustee of Belong - the UK's Cohesion and Integration Network (COIN), and a member of the Mayor of London’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Advisory Group.

He holds an MA in Public Policy from King’s College London. Nizam was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s 2020 Birthday Honours list for services to social mobility and community integration.

Co-Founder & CEO at algbra

Zeiad Idris

Zeiad is Co-Founder & CEO of algbra. Prior to co-founding algbra Zeiad was also Co- Founder and Managing Partner at New World Capital Advisors (NWCA). A successful FCA regulated global merchant banking and investment group focussed on special situations, where he successfully helped grow the business to >$2.5bn of AUM across asset management, real estate, sports and technology. At NWCA Zeiad and his partners took the business to >25 territories, securing partnerships with leading corporates, family offices and financial institutions.

Zeiad began his career in the commodities division at Credit-Suisse in London and between 2011-2017, Zeiad worked at The Capital Partnership Group of Companies (“TCP”) where he held various roles focused on business development, Private Equity and Venture Capital. At TCP, Zeiad worked on technology investments as well as global asset management and industrial transactions in frontier markets.

In a voluntary capacity, Zeiad has served as Chairman of the Leadership Committee at Jussoor-Alfanar, the youth outreach initiative of the first venture philanthropy organization focused on the Arab region.
